We haven’t been eating much meat lately, but I found chicken on sale at Publix for $1.99 a pound and just couldn’t resist. Time to pull out the dump chicken recipes and restock the freezer!
Teriyaki Dump Chicken
1 clove garlic, crushed
1/3 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons rice wine (or sherry)
1 1/2 tablespoons cider vinegar
1 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/2 tablespoons minced ginger
1 1/2 pounds chicken pieces
Cranberry Dump Chicken
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1/2 cup cranberry juice
1/4 cup orange juice
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
1 1/2 pounds chicken pieces (4 to 6)
Caribbean Dump Chicken
8 ounces pineapple chunks in juice
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/3 cup orange juice
1/2 cup golden raisins
1 1/2 pounds chicken pieces
Honey Ginger Dump Chicken
4 tablespoons chopped onion
1 1/2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon minced ginger
2 tablespoons sherry
1/4 cup chives
1 1/2 pounds chicken pieces
Sticky Dump Chicken
2 tablespoons vegetable or extra virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon soy sauce
3 tablespoons smooth peanut butter
3 tablespoons ketchup
8 pieces chicken
Sweet and Sour Dump Chicken
1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons honey
1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons sherry vinegar
1/8 cup soy sauce
2 teaspoons minced ginger
4 cloves crushed garlic
1 1/2 pounds chicken pieces

These look like great recipes….but what do I do with them? I’ve never made a ‘dump’ before.
Lisa – The beauty of dump chicken is that you really don’t have to do much of anything! Dump all the ingredients into a baking dish and bake at 350 for an hour or so until done. OR, and this is what I prefer, dump all the ingredients in a ziploc bag and stick in the freezer. In the morning, pull a ziploc out, dump it in the crockpot, and cook on low until dinner time. So easy and so tasty! Enjoy!
